Chat recall
A question that matches nothing in the knowledge base normally ends with Mamori saying it does not know. With this on it takes one more look first, reading back through your open channels, their pins and their open threads, and answering from what people actually said, naming the channel so nobody mistakes it for something official. A pinned message counts for more than a passing remark, because somebody thought it worth pinning. It only ever reads where @everyone can already read, so locked channels, staff channels, private threads, age restricted channels and anything you exclude below are never opened. The question is still logged as a gap, because chat is a stopgap and a written answer is not.

Only when somebody asks. Nothing runs in the background, so it costs nothing until it is needed.

Questions it could not answer. Nothing to grant beyond the module being on.
What you can change
6 settings, all on the module page in the dashboard. The defaults are what you get before you touch anything.
Never read theseany number of channels, default nothing selectedOn top of every channel @everyone cannot already see.
Channels to look ina number from 2 to 20, default 10The closest named channels go first, and open threads are read on top of these.
Messages read per channela number from 20 to 300, default 150Counted back from the newest, in pages of a hundred. Higher reaches further back but takes longer.
Read the pins tooon or off, default onPinned messages are usually the answer somebody already wrote, so they count for more.
Read open threadson or off, default onPublic threads under channels it can already read. Private threads are never opened.
Include other botson or off, default offOff keeps the answer to what people said.
Turning it on
Open the dashboard, pick the server, and find Chat recall under Knowledge. Switch it on, set what you want, and it starts from the next run. Switching it off keeps the settings for next time.
