Mamori

Threat network

One server gets hit. Every server learns.

When a scam link is caught in one community, that domain is checked against every other server running Mamori. A filter that only knows your server can only ever be as good as your server. This one gets better every time anyone is targeted.

0

Confirmed domains

Reported independently by at least 3 separate servers.

0

Contributing servers

Communities whose filters have fed the network in the last 90 days.

0

Reports this week

Fresh sightings in the last seven days.

0

Sightings held

Live records. Anything not seen again in 90 days is dropped.

These numbers are the whole public picture. There is no directory of reported domains and no way to look up a server from this page.

What travels

Domains. That is the entire list.

The network moves one kind of fact between servers: a web address that link filters already flagged locally. Nothing about the person who posted it and nothing about the conversation goes with it.

SharedThe domain behind a link that a server’s own filters already caught.
SharedHow many separate servers reported that domain, and when it was last seen.
NeverMessage content, of any kind, ever.
NeverUser names, user IDs, or anything that identifies who posted a link.
NeverWhich server reported a domain. Counts are public, sources are not.
NeverAnything at all from servers that switch sharing off.

Why it is hard to poison

One angry server cannot block a website.

A domain has to be caught by 3 unrelated servers before it reaches anyone else, and the published list is filtered against a standing set of known-good sites, so no amount of reporting can push a real service onto it. Your own allowlist always beats the shared list, and a domain that stops being reported falls off after 90 days.

YoursBoth halves are switches on your automod page. Take from the network, give to it, or neither. Turning off sharing removes your server from every count on this page.
AccountsMember screening reads the same network. An account that screened as risky in other servers carries that weight into yours, as one signal among many rather than an automatic verdict.
